Our Focus is On

Cognitive Restructuring

Clients focus on identifying and positively altering assumptions and beliefs about client’s physical limitations by having them state self-affirming statements before and after workouts. EMH aims to develop new positive muscle and cognitive memory while coaching clients to acknowledge, accept, and express gratitude regarding what their body has accomplished.

Motivational Interviewing

My goal is to help clients acknowledge and resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities about their bodies, and fitness levels. EMH’s goal is to find the internal motivation needed to change fitness behaviors & beliefs and make incremental postivires changes for their mental health.

Mindfulness

We help clients pay close attention to what their bodies and minds are experiencing emotionally and physically. The emphasize is not judging or criticizing the experiences, but to acknowledge feelings and thoughts while honoring them.

Developing Healthy Habits

EMH offers talk therapy, or a combinations of therapy/ fitness programs .We’re proud to offer transgender-focused fitness specific to pre/post-surgery with exercises related to chest, biceps, triceps, glutes, and abs.

EMH also provides referrals that will help meet the unique needs of LGBTQ youth ages 14-25 in vocational, educational, and life goals.

We encourage sweat, target heart rates, nutritional love, harmonic body movements, pyramid support, and continual coaching that helps people acknowledge what their BODIES can accomplish both physically and mentally.
